Follow these steps for using the product:
Step 1: Unscrew the top of the apple trap from the base, ensuring that the funnel remains in the top piece of the apple without separating. A dissolving lure packet is already placed in the base - do not open the packet. Store any remaining lure packets in the provided storage bag for future use.
Step 2: Add approximately 2 teaspoons of warm tap water to the base of the apple trap. The lure packet will dissolve in the water within 30 minutes. It is normal for a slight aroma to be present after setting up the trap. If desired, add 1 or 2 drops of liquid dish soap to enhance the lure.
Step 3: Check the trap daily and add water as needed when the level drops. Be careful not to let the water touch the funnel.
